POSITION: Shooting Guard/Small Forward

·         Athlete Profile: Tyler has added several inches in height over the last year and has had to make some adjustments where his game is concerned. His ball handling is very solid for the three spot. At 6’6” Tyler’s ability to knock down the three point basket consistently gives him the upper hand against defenders on the perimeter. He is a very accurate free throw shooter as well. Tyler has worked very hard to improve his foot speed, agility, and flexibility.  As a result he has seen steady improvement. His ability to run the floor gives any team an additional threat in transition. Although slashing to the basket is not his primary thought, Tyler has improved his sized and strength to help him get the ball all the way to the hole. His mid game range is also improving and a work in progress.

·         Biography: Tyler was born to Bill and DeAnn Hosman and has one brother. A solid student athlete with a 3.105 GPA. Tyler is also actively involved numerous organizations (on campus and off) such as S.A.D.D, Salvation Army, and Alternative Gifts International to name a few. With a calm demeanor Tylers passion for the game is sometimes overlooked. He loves the game and will make the perfect candidate to pull the game winning shot as he seems to always remain settled under pressure. In his spare time Tyler enjoys playing video games and time with family.
